Good Night Vision, Easy App, Easy installations

I purchased the $200 package with NVR and 4 Cameras. I didn’t want a pre installed hard drive and opted to buy it separately.
I bought a 6TB Surveillance Internal Hard Drive HDD, 3.5 Inch SATA (Seagate) which got me best bang for buck with this camera system.
This is a very powerful, multi optional system and has excellent quality images, with 4 channels at once, so hard drive would be rocking and noisy in use. Therefore, I used longer screws for install and put in rubber spacers in between and that reduced the read, write activity noise on the drive.
System has an 8 channel max, but they would need to program in more cameras on the company end, to be compatible with the current system, as I opted to buy only 4 cameras initially.
Cameras are Wi-Fi based, but Alptop is one of the few companies that I bought from that allows me to rename all of the cameras on the network, so nosy people don’t know what devices are broadcasting from my network.
I have had the system over 6 months and am happy with all of the alptop security products that I purchased. I would consider them for one of the first choices, were I to want to buy more.

Until our fence is up, we decided to go ahead and get security cameras as someone keeps taking things from our back yard. This is a good quality, well made set too. It was easy to setup, each monitor is on the corn and has a crystal clear picture. Has a motion detection feature that seems to work before they even come into view. Can move between all four screens, ones screen or alternate between several at once. Can even record to the cloud and backup until full if needed. Very good price for solid peace of mind. Highly recommend.

Great cams but be prepared to buy tf cards

Each cam needs a tf card for video playback unless you buy cloud services. I found out the hard way and customer service seems to be so clueless when you tell them over and over there is no tf card. Under each cam is where they go. You can purchase on Amazon cards for them make sure they tf.

Email notifications lacking

Although the physical equipment works quite well, not all of the software works as expected or advertised. The seller and I struggled for well over a month trying to get email alerts/notifications to work. Nothing we tried worked. So I am forced to check in on the system frequently for activity – not as we had hoped. And while we could have disassembled the entire system and returned it, that would require many more hours. Next time we will spend a little more and get a more functional system.

As compensation, the seller did send us an additional camera free of charge for our troubles.

Easy setup! I had a 5 camera setup for three years from another brand that was absolutely horrible! This great product has proven to be absolutely great. It works through concrete walls perfectly. They can be setup to lock in on a person and the camera will follow them until out of sight. I researched for quite awhile before purchasing this camera kit. The setup was so easy because the cameras were already paired to the NVR. The price was very reasonable, so I even expanded the amount of cameras to this kit, and they were easily connected to the NVR. I would highly recommend this camera kit!

The system is overall fantastic. The camera views are incredible both night and day. I have the app on my phone and can view the cameras from anywhere. I also have the system on my laptop and TV. The problem is the hard drive. It has a 1TB hard drive that I cannot format so it is completely useless for recording, unless I subscribe to their cloud service. I emailed the company and received 1 response with a fix that did not work. I have emailed them 3 more times with no response. I guess I paid extra for a hard drive that is completely useless. Customer support is lacking.
